What does an AI audit check?

The free audit runs 22 automated checks on a single page across three categories: AI visibility indicators, content structure for AI, and technical SEO foundation. Each check measures a signal that AI systems use to discover and understand websites. Our full client audit expands this to 43 checks across your whole site.

Is the AI audit really free?

The single-page audit with 22 checks, prioritized recommendations, and PDF export is free. We ask for an email to unlock the full report, but there is no charge. The 43-check sitewide audit with monitoring is part of our paid client service.

How is the AI visibility score calculated?

Each check produces a score from 0 to 100. The final score is a weighted average: critical checks count 3x, important checks 2x, and recommended checks 1x. Grades range from A+ (95-100) to F (0-29).

Does a high score guarantee AI will cite my website?

No. The audit measures proxy signals — structural, technical, and content indicators that AI systems look for. A high score means your site has the right signals in place, but actual AI citations depend on content authority, backlinks, and retrieval algorithms.

How often should I run an AI audit?

We recommend auditing after major site changes or at least quarterly. AI systems evolve quickly, and new signals emerge regularly. Results are cached for 24 hours to prevent excessive API usage.
